In other news, I am trying to learn flash, java, and unity... at the same time. This is probably a stupid thing to do, but oh well. Don't expect any non-GM games for a while.

An advice stike to one thing to learn at a time and in my view Java or Flash AS3 will be awesome :) so as to not get so confused :) as I tried to learn lots of stuff at same time I couldnt do so I get so confused and stop all of them :)

Haha, I just did the same thing recently. Unity's pretty fun. I'd suggest reading through the GUI.pdf, then Javascripting.pdf on their site. It's a good starting point.
ReplyDeleteI found Flash annoyed me more than anything, so I don't think I'll be going down that road too much.
Java will be your hardest task to learn, but it's worth it right now. All the paying work is there.
